Milestones, Growth, and New Services

It has been a busy and incredibly rewarding few months here at Advoc8 HSS. We are thrilled to share some significant updates as we continue to grow, evolve, and support our community.

Here is what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Second Audit: A Positive Milestone

We are pleased to announce that we have officially completed our Stage 2 NDIS registration audit! While we are currently waiting for the final report, the atmosphere has been overwhelmingly positive. The feedback from our staff, participants, and auditors has been encouraging and validates the significant work that has gone into getting us to the verge of our NDIS registration.

We look forward to sharing the official results with you once they are in. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this process—your commitment to excellence is what makes Advoc8 what it is.

Business expansion: GST & card payments

As we continue to grow, we’re proud to share that Advoc8 Health Support Services is now GST registered. This marks an important step in our development as an established provider, strengthening our credibility and ensuring our systems align with broader business standards. It also allows us to work more seamlessly with partner organisations and allied health providers

We are also now set up to accept card payments for ad-hoc and privately funded services. This provides a simple, secure payment option when needed, making it easier to manage services outside plan-funded supports while maintaining a smooth, professional experience.

New service: Compliance certification for ISWs

We know that independent support workers (ISWs) are the backbone of the NDIS, but accessing high-quality, practical training can be a challenge.

We are excited to announce that we are now offering RN-endorsed compliance certification for high-intensity supports. If you are an independent support worker looking to upskill in areas like PEG feeding and complex care, we can provide the training you need, backed by the clinical expertise of our Registered Nurses. We are here to ensure you feel confident, capable, and fully compliant in your practice. Check out the link on the site for more details!

We’re hiring! Join our team

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to expand our family! We are currently searching for dedicated and compassionate support workers to join our team.

If you are looking for a workplace that offers above-award pay, ongoing professional development, and the support of an RN-led environment, we would love to hear from you. Check out our latest job advertisement on the careers page of the site or contact us directly at careers@advoc8hss.com.au.

Staying informed: NDIS Reform

Finally, we are keeping a very close eye on the recent news from Canberra. Mark Butler MP has announced major reforms to the NDIS, and we know this is a topic of great importance to our participants and the wider sector.

Recent reforms under the Australian Government’s Securing the NDIS for Future Generations initiative are set to strengthen the scheme’s sustainability, improve consistency in decision-making, and enhance safeguards around service delivery. These changes include clearer eligibility and funding criteria, a stronger focus on evidence-based supports, and increased oversight to ensure quality, safety, and value for participants. At Advoc8, we’re closely monitoring these developments and staying ahead of the changes to ensure our service delivery not only remains compliant but continues to exceed expected standards. As the reforms progress, we’ll keep you informed—watch this space for further updates.
